While going through some old images, I came across this fun batch from 2016 in Shanghai. They were mostly taken at night with the Fujifilm X-Pro2. With so much high ISO noise, it made sense to leverage the beautiful Acros black and white film simulation to make the most of the grain from the higher ISO. Not much commentary to add as you’ve already likely seen the previous Shanghai post.
You can no doubt see some massive changes in Shanghai even over seven years. In China, this is more like 70 years with how quickly things change here. However, this post is all about the images, so I’ll stop writing and focus on boarding a flight to Milan, my first trip outside of Greater China since the pandemic! Hope you enjoy this blast from the past; I’m happy to answer any questions you may have on where the images were taken.
